Rhino Watch Lodge

Rhino Watch Lodge

The Lodge is located around the Mt Kenya region. Mt Kenya is Africa's second highest peak and regarded as the realm of Ngai "god" of the local Kikuyu people. It was also known as Kirinyaga meaning 'place of light'.The mountain is an awe-inspiring sight. Its ragged series of peaks are crowned with snow, and its slopes are thick with forest. It's the only mountain on the equator which has snow cap.

Rhino Watch Lodge is a natural paradise of untouched forest of euphorbia trees, orchids in full bloom and birds everywhere. Rhino Watch Lodge promotes sustainable tourism. We attempt to make a low impact on the environment and local culture, while helping to generate employment for local people. Our aim is to ensure that development brings a positive experience for the local people
